Hey Guys,

Wow what a week it’s been, here’s a new video that i know you will all be interested in.

Now Flax seed oil is nature’s richest source of the Omega-3 essential fatty acid (EFA) alpha linolenic acid.

-

It is important to realise that essential means just that; we absolutely have to have them to live and to be healthy, as our bodies cannot make them. Because of this, we have to obtain them from our food or from supplements. Omega-3 EFA’s are required for the transport and metabolism of both cholesterol and triglycerides in the body. Studies have shown that supplementing with this has been able to lower cholesterol levels by up to 25% and high triglycerides by up to 65%. They are required for normal development and function of the brain. The highest concentration of Omega-3 EFA’s occur in the brain and retina.  Irreversible damage to vision and the learning ability has been noted, if the foetus and young baby are deficient in omega-3 EFA’s. Recent research is linking brain disorders as diverse as multiple sclerosis, post natal depression, schizophrenia and attention deficit (hyperactivity) disorder (ADD/ADHD) with a lack of Omega-3 EFA’s.  Flax seed oil provides 61% Omega 3, 17% Omega-6 and 14% Omega-9.

-

There are so many benefits to Flax Seed Oil that it is really a no brainer when selecting essential supplements for a healthy diet.

-

For the above reasons this is why Flax Seed Oil is our featured product of the week. One lucky person will take a large bottle of this home monday next week so place your comments around the website, If you like something share it with others of book mark it and ill see you monday with the winner that if all goes well will be you!

-

Cheers Sam

I haven’t tried taking flaxseed oil as a supplement, but I do use flaxseed oil for cooking. I am currently taking a combination of evening primose oil and fish oil to help with stiff joints first thing in the morning. It has worked wonders, and I would like to try flaxseed oil to see if this makes a difference also.
